Care Notes is an easy place to store all important updates for you and your loved one, so everyone stays on the same page.

You can create a Care Note in three ways:

To search for a specific Care Note, you can filter by type or search by name at the top of the Care Note Module.

To add a custom note, click the Plus Sign and enter all the important details.

If you need to edit a Care Note, click into the note and select the blue pencil in top right-hand corner.

You can also add a care note by speaking it instead of typing. Tap the Plus Sign and select Record a Note, then just talk. The Avanlee app will transcribe what you say and clean it up into a note for you to review before saving. This is a good option if you'd rather talk through an update than type it out.

Since transcription isn't always perfect, it's a good idea to double-check the note for errors before saving it.

When you mark a calendar event "Completed with notes," the app creates a Care Note from what you entered. You'll see a message confirming this before you finish, so a new Care Note appearing that you didn't type from scratch is expected, not a mistake.

Need more information added to a Care Note? Open the Care Note and click the blue chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner to add a comment, making it easy to add updates or additional details without creating a whole new note. Each time a comment is added, the total count on the chat icon will increase. View the picture below, showing a Care Note with two additional comments added.
