You can order groceries and over-the-counter items for delivery or pickup through Walmart, right in the Avanlee App.
Getting Started with Shopping
Select Home Store
To begin your shopping experience, go to the Shopping module. You will need to enter your zip code if you haven’t shopped in the app before.
Enter your zip code, select your home store, and click Save. You can always change your selected store by clicking on the store’s address in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
Search for Items
You can search for shopping items in the Shopping Module using any of the following options:
You can pick a category from one of the tiles: Home, Groceries, Health, or Personal care.
Filter results by selecting View All Categories.
Manually search for items from the search bar at the top of the page.
Shopping Lists
If you have weekly ordered items or frequently ordered items that you want easily accessible, create a Shopping List.
To create a Shopping List, follow these steps:
Select My Lists.
Click blue plus icon and name the Shopping List.
Click Save.
To edit the list name, select the Blue Pencil in the top right corner inside the list.
Add to Shopping List
To add items to a Shopping List, click the Plus icon in the List. Then, click the blue shopping cart on bottom right of item to add to the list. When you’re done, click on the back arrow.
Placing an Order
Add Items to Cart
To add an item to your cart, click the blue shopping cart icon in the bottom right of the item. Each time you add an item, the cart count in the top right will increase to reflect the total.
Check Out
When you are ready to check out, follow these steps:
Select blue shopping cart tab in top right with total item count.
Verify items and quantities in cart.
Click Place Order.
This will transfer you to Walmart’s checkout page to complete checkout through their website.
Delivery and Pickup
Depending on your address, some orders may not qualify for delivery. Walmart’s algorithm will determine if your area qualifies for delivery.
If your address does not qualify for delivery, you can always place a grocery and over-the-counter order for pickup.
Grocery Recommendations
In Grocery Recommendations, you’ll find our team’s recommendations for grocery items for different life circumstances such as post-surgery support, dairy-free groceries, and adaptive equipment.
By clicking Add to Cart you can move all items to your shopping cart. To manually select the items from the recommendation list, click Select at the top. From here, you can copy the items into a different list.
