Shopping Lists are shared with the entire Care Hub, so any member can see or add to them. The Shopping Cart is private to an individuals own account. Items added to the cart won't show up for anyone else.

To make an item visible to the rest of the Care Hub, add it to a shared list rather than just the cart.

If a family member cant see a shopping cart, this is expected as design. The Shopping Cart, is private to your own account, so anything you've added there won't show up for anyone else. On the other hand, Shopping Lists are shared with the whole Care Hub, so everyone can see the same lists.

Before adding Avanlee items to a Walmart cart, the app checks whether the cart already has existing items and warns the user if so. That check is a timed wait, plus a scrape of Walmart's page content, and on a slow connection or after a Walmart site change it can silently fail. When that happens, items can end up in the Walmart cart with no warning shown.

Delivery is available for anyone. It is not required to live with the person caring for to use the Avanlee grocery delivery feature. Orders can be placed from anywhere and delivered directly to their home, or scheduled for store pickup if that works better.

Through Avanlee's Walmart integration in the app, one can order groceries, OTC medications, and daily supplies for delivery or pickup.

Avanlee doesn't handle orders directly. The Shopping module is just a way to browse and build lists that get sent over to Walmart for checkout, so all payments, refunds, order tracking, and delivery are handled by Walmart.

To check out through the app, a Walmart account must be created.

If charged for more items than expected, it may be because the app's warning-for-existing-Walmart-cart-items check silently failed. There's no in-app fix, just useful context.

For the Shopping module to work properly, a store will need to be selected. Enter the Zip code on the store selection screen and pick a nearby Walmart from the results.

If no locations populate in the area of the zip code, there may not be a participating Walmart store in the general area.

A store is a hard requirement for the whole module. Nothing works without one. If no locations are found, that's a genuine Walmart coverage gap, not an app bug. No workaround if there's truly no nearby participating store.

If you got kicked or closed out of shopping, this happens when there's no store or ZIP code set yet. Shopping needs one to work, so it'll exit back out until that's set up. To get back, enter the ZIP code when prompted in the Shopping module.
